So I am sure you have heard the news…Verizon FiOS now offers custom TV packages! It is a much simpler way to choose the types of channels you want without having to pay for a bunch that you don’t want. You can get a base channel package and then choose 2 genre-specific (lifestyle, entertainment, news and info, pop culture, kids, sports and sports plus) channel pack to go along with it.
You would think that because I am in the news business that I would be a TV junkie. However most are surprised that I don’t watch much TV at all! It is mainly because I am a very busy person juggling work, blogging, a social media business, 2 kids, and maintaing a home. So these packages offer more flexibility as well as saving money when picking a TV package.
For example, you will never see me watching sports…ever! I am sorry, but I can’t even pretend to like sports. However, when I do get a chance to relax and not think about anything but watching a good show I would turn on one of the Lifestyle or Entertainment channels. What TV show would you recommend that I watch next?
