My life has become so hectic lately and after realizing that although I am in the people business – my job isn’t to network at every event. I used to fill my calendar with events almost everyday thinking I had to be there.
But in all reality I have figured out that social networking can be just as powerful and I don’t have to sacrifice my precious family time. Social networking has allowed me to gain powerful relationships and get clients in my own time!
Now don’t get me wrong I love being around people and learning from them but I do not have to be a part of every group. I have my favorites ( and you know who you are :))
But these networking groups that I have been involved in Hampton Roads and will still support. So, if you don’t see me around as much – I am learning about balance. Family, Work and then networking if time allows.
