Enjoy a FREE Small Premium Roast McCafé Coffee at Participating McDonald’s September 23-29 2012

Next week, participating McDonald’s restaurants in Southeastern Virginia and Northeast North Carolina will say “Thank You” to customers. In February, local McDonald’s restaurants celebrated Leap Day with Free Coffee. For an entire week we are celebrating our customers in recognition of National Coffee Day by offering FREE Small Premium Roast McCafé Coffee Sept. 23-29.

“Serving hot, freshly brewed coffee is a universal way to show appreciation and we’re thrilled to share our Premium Roast McCafe Coffee with customers for free,” said Jim Wheeler, McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “No strings attached – just visit your local McDonald’s and enjoy a FREE small McDonald’s coffee at one of our 96 restaurants in the Tidewater area.”

McDonald’s owners in Southeastern Virginia and Northeast North Carolina are doing more than giving away Free Coffee, they are giving back to their charity of choice Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk. RMHC Norfolk will receive a donation for every cup of coffee that leaves local McDonald’s restaurants over the course of the week. Customers are encouraged to stop by their neighborhood McDonald’s not only for free coffee, but to help a great charity.

Coffee isn’t just for breakfast anymore, according to recent findings by the National Coffee Association. Daily coffee consumption soared by seven percentage points in 2011, moving coffee solidly ahead of soft drinks, according to the 2012 National Coffee Drinking Trends report. Free Coffee will be available all day during each restaurant’s Hours of Operation.

A Week of Small Free Premium Roast Coffee at McDonald’s is happening at participating restaurants across the Eastern United States – from Maine to Miami.  McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee is made with 100% Arabica Beans.

Customers can access McDonald’s nutrition information for food and beverage choices on www.mcdonalds.com, McDonald’s mobile app, toll-free customer experience and insights line, in-restaurant brochures, reverse side of tray liners and select menu packaging. They can also use the online tool My Meal Builder to mix and match food and beverage choices and view nutrition and ingredient information for customized menu choices.
