I have 2 boys – Hunter is 11 years old and Ethan is 7 years old. I wanted to take them to Norfolk Harborfest but a little nervous because we were going to take the Norfolk Tide downtown and then attend a very busy outdoor festival. They are pretty good about staying with me but all it takes is a second to lose them. I haven’t given them cell phones yet but still want to be able to find them quickly if I lose them…and vice versa..they can find me as well.
I attached the TILE to a carabiner and then attached to a belt loop on my 7 year old. As long as he is within 100 feet of me and my phone it will play a loud tune until I find him. And vice versa..if he can’t find me all he has to do is push the “e” on the TILE and it will ring my phone.
And let’s say you aren’t in range and still can’t find him, you can mark lost and if other TILE users are in range of YOUR Tile then it will notify you where the other TILE user is so you know where to go. It is a community Lost and Found!
There are so many uses for the TILE app:

- Put inside your car in case you can’t find in busy parking lot

- Put on a kid 🙂
- Attach to a pet collar
