My favorite business app is MileIq which is a mileage tracking app.  I have never been able to consistently track my mileage.  I may do it here or there when I remember but that doesn’t do me any good at tax time when I need it most so I often don’t even include it.

But now I have found MileIq which automatically records my drives and then I can classify them later with just a swipe left or right.  Personal or Business.  It even automatically calculates what your miles are worth – my kind of motivation!  At 57.5 cents a mile ( 2015 IRS standard mileage rate) it adds up quickly!
The app is FREE for 40 drives logged a month.  But at $59.99 a year ($5 a month) it is worth it to upgrade and it pays for itself in just one drive you are able to write off.
How do you track your mileage?  With an app or manually?

Naoma’s Nugget: Mile IQIt’s never too early to start talking taxes. Here’s an app that will surely help you keep on the road with your mileage, without causing you a headache!
