The Hampton City Schools does a Hampton Citizen Of The Month every 2 months and holds a special luncheon for some very special students in their honor as well as a featured speaker. This months was Duane Cotton with Trademark Construction for his work he just completed at Extreme Makeover Home Edition Hampton Roads.
They had Dr Linda Shifflette the Hampton School Superintendeant and Fred Brewer on the School Board give some great advice and encouraging words to the students. Then the featured speaker was Duane Cotton. It was great to see such a positive message being shared with the students. Here is a short recap of the luncheon.
